Sun Moon Lake is the largest lake in Taiwan and it is not only a popular tourist attraction, but also a popular spot for couples taking their pre-wedding photographs. The eastern part of this lake is round like the sun, while the western side is shaped like a crescent moon, hence the name “Sun Moon Lake”.
Getting There
Take a coach from Taichung to Shueishe Visitors Centre, then purchase a Sun Moon Lake Shuttle Boat ticket at NT$150 and finally, depart from Shueishe Pier.
