The moment that you feel that, just possibly, you’re walking down the street naked, exposing too much of your heart and your mind and what exists on the inside, showing too much of yourself. That’s the moment you may be starting to get it right.

Sometimes I think I’m a better visual storyteller than I am a verbal one, and that I’m in the wrong profession, so I recently took a short sabbatical not only to travel and unplug, but also to find my voice as a writer. Ultimately, I decided it’s best to just be myself on this blog and write as honestly as possible, steering away from the Top 10s and Why You Should Do This and That kind of posts. (They’ll go on my portfolio instead.)

I also deliberated if I should accept press trip invitations. On one hand, they’ll bring me to places I’ve never been to or thought of going, but on the other, I’m not sure how it’ll affect the way I see the trips. This is still a question I’ve yet to find an answer to, but I hope I’ll find it soon.
