This trip was made possible by the very kind Director Liu of Kang Le Community, even though I was a volunteer at Hsinchu Science Park and not at her community. Someday, I told myself, I want to be a generous lady like her when I have achieved a certain financial stability.

These are not my best pictures, given how they were taken with a point-and-shoot camera in 2012, when I just started taking interest in travel photography. I look forward to revisiting these places sometime in the future to take better pictures—not to replace these memories, but to recover memories of these places as well as making new ones.
