Korean Folk Village was (and still is) the filming location for many period dramas and the latest drama being filmed there is Daebak, starring Jang Geun Suk. The entrance fee is 15,000 KRW, and it’s probably recommended to go during the weekends, because hanbok rentals are available only then. It’s a 50-minute bus ride away from Suwon Station, which is an hour away from Seoul. Alternatively, you could take the Nooriro train to Suwon, which costs 2,700 KRW but will cut the travel time by about 25 minutes.
