Hong Kong is one of the cities that many of my Singaporean friends see no point in visiting, simply because it is so similar to Singapore.
What’s there to do in Hong Kong?
They all ask the same question and quickly jump to the conclusion that all there is in Hong Kong are shopping malls and claustrophobically tall buildings. It’s not entirely untrue, but they forget that Hong Kong is an island surrounded by deep waters and tall mountains.
And so, instead of hanging out in a mall or at the overcrowded Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, C and I decided to hang out at Hung Hom Promenade, which offers a different view of Victoria Harbour. The night was still young, so we decided to find a place to sit around. It was my first time at Dockyard and while I can’t tell you if the food is nice because all I did was sit outside and enjoy some free live music, I think the crowd says something about this place.
Hung Hom Promenade is also a popular spot for photoshoots, apparently.
