I was on the lookout for a trail that would go easy on my worn-out knees, and I was thankful when A accepted my suggestion to explore Hong Kong Trail at Lugard Road instead of challenging some of the more exciting peaks in Hong Kong.
It was a relatively easy walk made ten times more enjoyable by the slight autumn breeze. Halfway into the walk, we got excited at the sight of an elderly man selling traditional Hong Kong snacks and could not resist getting ourselves some.
Going downhill was a bit of a pain for someone with all sorts of knee problems, but relatively manageable. Definitely a leisurely weekend walk that I cannot imagine getting sick of.
